I believe in offering a space that is empathic and judgement free, so that you can feel safe while exploring what matters most to you, making sense of your experiences and who you are as a result. Our world is a confusing and anxiety provoking place full of rushing and demands on your time and energy, my invitation to you is to come with curiosity and let your thoughts and feelings unfold however they need to.

I am qualified to work with children, young people and adults, to supervise and to train other practitioners' clinical work.

How I work

My main modalities are Humanistic, Existentialism, Jungian. As the client, you are in charge of whether we work either short or long term. I combine techniques so that therapy is bespoke to you and your individuality - there is no one size fits all. That said, I am interested in archetypes that are present in your life and how they might particularly shape your experience of the world and yourself. I am comfortable working with dreams, myths and fairy tales in this regard if that is something that you are curious about. These bring a playful creative element to the work of finding your inner voice. I am happy to work with other creative media if you want to explore, but don't have the words to express your thoughts or feelings. Equally, you might be just fine with talking and that is okay too.

I have a certificate in Play Therapy and have trained in Adoption work through Barnardo's. I can work with adopted people whether they are children or adults, birth families and adoptive families. I am experienced in working with children (8+), young people and adults. Play therapy is helpful for people who want to work on childhood issues, as well as for working with children and young people.
