Allison Woodley

As an Integrative therapist registered with the BACP. my focus is centred on you as the client and working in a way that is most supportive to you and your issues. I have extensive experience working with Young People and qualified with a Level 5 Diploma as well as years of experience working with adults.

I have experience in working with under 11’s (7 years and over), young people (11-18 years) and adult clients. I also enjoy working with clients who are on the Autistic spectrum.

I work face to face both long or short term. I also have experience with online counselling and messaging.

During our counselling together the sessions will be reviewed to make sure it is meeting your needs. If you feel overwhelmed, struggling with trauma, anxiety, identity issues, not able to cope at school and exams, ADHD, autism and relationship issues these are some of the areas we can work on together. Counselling can help you to make sense of your life, find acceptance, meaning and purpose. I’m here to create a safe environment as we walk this journey together.

 My approach

Taking that courageous step and talking to a counsellor can be the support that you need to know that you are not alone. That there is someone you can talk to in a safe environment without judgment. A safe place where you can find the help you need to work through that life time issue you have been struggling with or speaking to someone about that one issue that you can't seem to move forward from. Finding that space to reflect, speak and be heard.

I am a member of BACP (British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists).  I also regularly attend supervision and participate in ongoing CPD’s (Continuing Professional Development) to make sure my work is current and ethical.

My private practise is at counselling@unit12 in Winchester. The full address can be found on the map at the bottom of the page.

I offer face-to-face, video (Zoom) or telephone counselling sessions, details of which can be found above.
